Mo´nique won an Oscar for best supporting role female. Well deserved, her performance was so powerful I would be scared of her. She tore that role apart and was perfect for it.
My God I have never seen such an honest movie- The mother is scary yet a true character - I will never forget this picture- It has taugth me a lot bout myself and others! :O)
